Dear Colleagues,

Following on the heels of success with our previous three Neurodegenerative Diseases Drug Discovery conferences, we are proud to bring another comprehensive and timely summit 4th Neurodegenerative Diseases Drug Discovery on Oct 9-10, 2008 in Philadelphia, PA.

The drug discovery effort for neurodegenerative diseases has been one of the major challenges and focuses of the pharmaceutical industry, which has been evidenced by fast and dynamic research and development in this field. In the last few years, there has been great progress in the development of novel therapeutic approaches to treat Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, multiple sclerosis, stroke and various other neurodegenerative diseases. There have also been significant developments in our understanding of the genetics, the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways contributing to neuronal dysfunction, neurotoxicity and pathology.

At GTCbio’s 4th annual Neurodegenerative Diseases Drug Discovery conference, leading scientists and experts will discuss these latest breakthroughs, new drug targets, new models, the development of new biomarkers, imaging modalities, improved clinical trial designs and several other novel developments and therapeutics to combat neurodegenerative conditions.

Join us at this exciting conference and present your work at the poster session. A few outstanding abstracts will be chosen for oral presentations.

Sincerely,

2008 Neurodegenerative Diseases Conference Organizing Committee
